Her grounded B when not held down is a teleporting attack that works well as an anti air + If an air A attack hits a grounded opponent then you can do a combo after and if it is blocked you can do a normal throw afterwards with little risk. A in the air is a kick that travels forward and down at about a 60 degree angle. Back A in the air angles a kick that travels downward at a 15 degree angle Don't throw this out often but rather wait for good moments to use it. +Back A on the ground allows you to use it to dodge certain attacks. Back A on the ground is a slide with good range but it leaves you open to be punished after if they block. +Forward A is unsafe up close but somewhat safe at a good range where it still hits but barely. Forward A having good range at medium speed and recovery (can combo into super move) neutral A being fastest attack but also shortest range (can combo into super move) Lines with + describe additional information on the last thing described. Setsuki has alot of options so I can see why you might be confused. The game is still in early access, If you want I could answer any questions but guides are something that fans are still working on. Perhaps I should switch to something with more than 1 hp? I'm thinking Setsuki may not be such a wise choice for a beginner. Mirror match, forget it, I may as well not even be trying. Of course, what's the point in thinking when you're stun-locked the entire match? At least with Midori I could counter SOME of his abilties. This is the first fighting game where I'm actually thinking about what I'm doing. I've rarely gotten to play against a human opponent. I've played them for years, but I've always just been a button-masher. I fixed this problem by plugging into another usb port (no idea why that would make a difference, but ok).Īnd no, I'm not good at fighting games. And in arcade, it simply wasn't doing anything at all. I noticed that in practice, my controller was operating the second character for some reason. And yes, I did have a problem with my controller simply not responding in arcade. Anything I do the bot immediately counters, even though doing the same thing does NOT work for me. Most of the time it feels like my controller is completely unresponsive. Only faced Midori once, and haven't faced Grave yet at all. So far I've beaten Jaina, Rook, and Geiger. Also, I haven't played anything BUT her in arcade. Actually its because she's the only character I find interesting. And no, I'm not playing her bc I keep getting owned by the bot. I have yet to play ONE game where she didn't get a perfect on me, every match. Even though her bot appears to be op as ♥♥♥♥. I've been trying to learn the character, but I can find guides for literally every character in the game except her.
